COVID-19 Response Fund with WHO

Published on: 18.10.2020

TU Delft, Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment, with support of Delft Global is officially supporting the World Health Organization (WHO)’s response to COVID-19.

A small team, headed by Dr. Caroline Newton, is providing design support for the realisation (or rehabilitation) of healthcare facilities.

As part of the WHO’s COVID-19 response, the WHO helps local actors mitigate the current Corona crisis by providing technical support for the construction of Severe Acute Respiratory Infections (SARI) Treatment Centres. The architects and engineers of the TU Delft offer assistance in designing solutions for these SARI treatment centres.

For more information about this project contact Dr. Caroline Newton or visiting the TU Delft Global Initiative website.
