CITY+ 2019: The International Conference for PhD Students and Early Career Researchers on Urban Studies
Hall K, Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environmnet, TU Delft
After being held in the UK for two years, this year City+ 2019 will take place at the Department of Urbanism of Delft University of Technology on 11th October. The City+ 2019 conference will consist of five sequential plenary sessions (i.e. Urban landscape and shrinking cities; Land use and transport planning; Smart city and urban sustainability; Housing availability and affordability; Urban heritage preservation and renovation). Each session is organised by a moderator and includes four presentations and a Q&A session. We will also hold a poster session during the coffee breaks and lunch time, letting poster authors show their research and exchange ideas with people interested in their works.
City+ 2019 as a coming together event is free and open to everyone, but places are limited. Preferences will be given to PhD students, post-docs and early career researchers registered with abstract submission. Anyone who has interests in urban studies is also welcome to attend.
Please express your interest / submit the abstract via the link https://forms.gle/6VACCjicMUwk36uLA. The deadline for abstract submission is 28th June 2019. Selection will be based on the quality of the abstract, as well as its capacity to engage with other proposals in a collaborative dialogue.
